NCCE and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of the Gambia signed a Memorandum of Understanding, signalling a commitment by both institutions to enhanced co-operation. The MoU which tied together the two institutions in formal collaboration is aimed increasing citizens’ understanding of Gambiaโs 1997, The Draft 2020 Constitutions, and fundamental Human Rights.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday the 27th May 2020 at the NHCR National Secretariat in Kotu. The MoU was signed by Alh. Sering Fye, Chairman of NCCE and Dr. Cherno Barry, Executive Secretary of NHRC.
